Perfect Operator Ergonomics
Fatigue when using a Stand-Up Style Mini Loader is a key consideration before making a purchase decision. Ergonomics not only improve comfort levels on a superficial level but also reduces fatigue, reduces Repetitive Stress Injuries (RSI) and increases functional performance.
Joystick positioning. SM60, SM100, SM120 series incorporates advanced ergonomic features to ensure operator comfort and efficiency. The fine-tuned position of the joysticks and design of the handle bars are designed to position the operator’s hands in a neutral position, significantly reducing fatigue during prolonged use.
Angled and Supported Operator Platform. The operator platform is angled forward and equipped with comfortable, curved foam supports. This setup enables operators to lean into the machine during operation, thereby minimising the need to "hang on" to handlebars with excessive force, which is a common issue with other brands. Leaning into the machine in operation is very comfortable and sets the operator in a natural stance when taking the impact of the bucket entering the earth.
Suspension on Platform. The operator platform in the SM series is engineered to lessen fatigue. The platform is cushioned and spring-suspended, offering a stable and comfortable base that mitigates the jarring motions often experienced during operation. This design innovation allows operators to work longer hours without experiencing undue stress or fatigue.
No Sharp Corners. Wacker Neuson has designed these loaders to have no sharp corners in the operation area that could potentially harm operators. Unlike other machines where operators may accidentally hit their knees on sharp edges or engine components the SM60, SM100 and SM120 series provides a safe and smooth operating environment.
