V13TVC Twin Tip Tiger Teeth Kit

Kit includes: 5 x V13TVC Twin Tip Tiger Teeth and 5 x V13-17PN Retaining Locks

Are similar to the "Super V" 13 Series Esco teeth which are very common in Australia for late model mini excavators up to 3 tonne. They are fitted with a bonded steel and rubber pin which is punched in vertically from top to bottom on the left-hand-side of the tooth. These will most likely be the teeth fitted If you have a skid steer or mini excavator up to 3 tonne and feature a pin through the left hand side.

Blade or Twin Tiger?

Blade teeth are great for general purpose work and long life, the large wear area will last longer than twin tip tiger teeth.  Twin tip tiger teeth will penetrate the ground much easier than blade teeth due to sharper points on the teeth, however they will wear faster than blade teeth due to the smaller wear area than blade teeth.  The general rule of thumb is to use blades for normal work and tigers when the ground is too hard and the machine is struggling to dig.
